Patch Testing
Our first priority is to you, our client. We will only carry out colour services if we believe it is safe to do so. Patch Tests are always available at Feathers. Please make sure you put one on 48 hours before your colour appointment. We will need to remove the test from your arm ourselves to be able to carry out your colour appointment. We are committed to your safety.
 
If you do not have a patch test please pop in to pick one up, or call us and we will send one to you. You will recieve an email from us reminding you of your appointment and to use your patch test.It is a good idea to keep a stock of patch tests so you can book an appointment at short notice.
Standby Appointments
You may book standby colour appointments 2 days in advance. This will allow you time to pop into the salon and pick up a patch test before your appointment. If you don't already have one to hand. Standby colour appointments can only be carried out if a patch test has been completed in the normal way. As always we can not guarantee which stylist will be doing your colour on a standby colour appointment.

Can I have my hair coloured if I have an allergic reaction to a Patch Test?
Feathers are proud to use Sens.us colours. Sens.us have developed the worlds first PPD FREE professional hair colour. If you have an allergy to PPD it is possible we will still be able to safely and professionally colour your hair. We believe we are the first professional salon group in the UK to be able to say this. If you believe this applies to you, please book in for a complimentary colour consultation.
